As I promised myself, I took the weekend off of poker except for the two tournaments I was already enrolled in. In the iron man freeroll I cashed for $90 (not too bad) and in the FTOPS #9 that I satted into, I cashed again, 360/5637 for $625. Lost most of my stack just pre-bubble with AK vs 88 on a A87 flop, hit the bubble with 5k or so, pushed with AA, was called by 99 from a just-barely-smaller stack, 9 flopped. Down to 2k, 2 hands later I catch KK and triple up. I double again a rotation later with AQ vs AJ, and call a button all-in from the blinds with A6s; pusher had K4s and I hold. But then, I go completely card dead for several rotations, and eventually pick up AK in MP against an UTG limper. I push, limper calls with 55, the pair holds, and I'm out.
Still, after dropping >$1,500 last Friday, getting $700 of it back in tournaments is a very nice score. I'm still going to drop down to NL100 for a bit, but can move up to NL200 again after a decent run.
