This marks my 100th post for this blog, and fittingly, it's a down day, lol. Played 883 hands losing $479, including one absolute setup where a guy limped AA from the SB, I raised with AQs, he called. Flop comes dry, Q high, check to me, I bet. Turn bricks, he checks I bet again he calls. I'm smelling a bit of a rat by this point but the river is an ace, which I think puts me ahead of much of his range. He bets out, which was almost all-in, I went ahead and raised, he called immediately of course. Without that case A on the river I save a lot of money.
Much of the rest of what I lost was just moderate-sized pots that weren't going my way. Had 77 on a 733 flop that I eventually had to dump: smooth-called flop bet from donk thinking he had a weak overpair or something like 66, 2 more smoothcallers behind which was fine with me. Turn 8, donk bets out again for $17, I smooth-call again looking for overcalls. River 8. FUUUUUCK. Checked to the button, who pots it for $107. Everyone folds.
I then entered the $100+9 MSOP main event, was able to double early after I raised from LP with 5c6c, retard in the BB defends, limper calls. Flop: Ac Jc Tc. Nice. Check to me, I bet, retard check-raises, I call. Turn: Qh. Retard bets pot, almost all-in, I raise, he instacalls with KhTh and is drawing dead. Heh.
Played tight for a while, lost a bunch of chips in an attempt to 3bet light from the blinds and then cbet, button had a steal % of 100% over 80 hands but didn't back down this hand, had to give it up to a river bet. At about 8000 chips a retard limps from UTG, 2 more limpers, I limp the button with Kc7c. SB limps, BB checks, flop K76 rainbow. Retard bets out, limper calls, I raise to 4x the bet, retard pushes, I call. Retard shows AA. Turn 4 river 4. GG me.
